Hans Bollongier or Boulenger is a Dutch painter, born about 1600 in Haarlem and died after 1645 in the same city. It is a painter of still-life specialized in the representation of floral bouquet, sometimes of big dimensions.

Bollongier is the leading painter of flower bouquets of the golden age. Impressive is the way he uses the colors. And again and again, it is the tulip that stands out from the sea of flowers. Looking closely at his compositions, the bizarre little creatures stand out like snails or lizards eagerly looking up at the flowers.
