Claude Monet (born November 14, 1840 in Paris, † December 5, 1926 in Giverny, is a French painter whose extensive work includes several stylistic epochs.) His early work is part of the realism from which he developed further and further away. He was a significant member of the Impressionistic art movement and some of his works are counted among the most important images of this style epoch, his late work consists mainly of garden pictures.
