THE BEAUTY OF INTIMACY
LA BELLE
ROMAINE
One of Amedeo Modigliani's most acknowledged works painted in 1917. A great sensuality goes out of the painting. Physicality is central, but at the same time Modigliani knows how to give it something ideal through his sculptural elaboration. The painting is part of a private collection, after it was sold for 68.9 million US dollars in 2010 at auction house Sotheby's.
