LIFE IN VENICE
Vittore Carpaccio, also sometimes called Vittorio (circa 1465 - 1525/1526), was an Italian painter, a citizen of the Republic of Venice. He was one of the protagonists of the production of canvases in Venice at the turn of the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries, becoming perhaps the best witness of the life, customs and extraordinary aspect of the Serenissima in those years.
